Summer Football
The states biggest social Summer Football season is back at SJFC. For the 2025 season SJFC will be providing an in house competition for Summer Football for all age groups from U6 through to U16. Summer Football is perfect for all skill levels to have fun in a more relaxed atmosphere and to make some new friends. Registration for summer football is a little different so make sure you read all the information below.

4 v 4 + substitutes (no goalkeeper)

*Individual registration is not possible, you must be part of a fully formed team. See the Looking For Team below for more information.
$100 per player is based on the recommended number of players including substitutes. The minimum number of players per team is show below. No discounts are given for teams that register with less than the recommended number of players.
Girls Comp
After the last 2 successful seasons, the all girls comp's return in 2025. This is dependant on numbers but we are confident that we will have enough teams in all age groups from Under 8s through to Under 14's. Gather your girlfriends and build a team for our 2024 season.

A nominated team organiser collects the teams payment and pays in full. This will unlock the team organiser section on our website to allow you to manage your team.

Player/Parent
Every player must be registered in PlayFootball to be covered by FootballNSW's insurance. Registration is free. You will only be accepted if you are named in a fully paid team.

Key Rules/Info
- Field Setup – All teams that play on the field first are expected to setup that field. All teams that play the final game on the field are expected to packdown their field. You will be informed by the match schedule if you are on setup or packdown duties of your field each week.
- Team Uniforms – Jerseys will be provided by SJFC for all registered players. All teams must wear their jerseys and any players not wearing their jersey is not permitted to play. In the rare case of matching colours for opposing teams, the away team is required to wear bibs which can be collected from the canteen area.

- Borrowing Players – You can borrow any SJFC 2024 Summer Football registered player from the same or lower age group.
- Referees – Most games from U8-U16 will have a referee provided by SJFC. If a referee is unavailable, a spectator may step in to referee the game. Referees’ calls are final. U6/U7 games will be led by a parent from each team.
- Social, Not Competitive – SJFC Summer Football is a social competition. Scores are not recorded.
- Jewellery – No jewellery or watches are to be worn as per the rules in our standard winter competition.
- Training – No training is allocated. Summer Football is a social competition to have some fun and make some friends. Training is not required.
- Refunds – Prior to 1st August – 100% | Prior to 1st September – 50% | On or after September 1st – No Refunds
