Shellharbour Junior Football Club

Our Story

Established in 1967, Shellharbour Junior Football Club (SJFC) is a successful volunteer based organisation that has grown into one of the largest junior football clubs in the Illawarra with approximately 850 registered players. SJFC has a proud history of being a family club and the support of local businesses and the community has been a vital factor in the clubs success.

Our Community

Continued support ensures that our sport remains affordable for all players and their families. Our major source of revenue comes from membership fees provided by parents and sponsorships received from generous individuals and businesses. All our Committee members are local residents who are committed to making the Club a success.

We would like to give you the opportunity to be part of the growing success of junior football by sponsoring our Club. In becoming a sponsor you will have unprecedented exposure in the local community. There are promotion opportunities on game days, gala days, knockouts, season launches, presentation day, on Facebook, as well as here on the website.

2014 - A new Era

New Home

2014 was an historic year for SJFC when a chapter of our Club’s history closed at Barrack Heights Sports Fields which was our home for 48 years. A new era has begun in 2015 with Myimbarr Community Park being our home ground for the2015 season and beyond. The SJFC Committee has taken this move as an opportunity to revitalise the Club and has worked hard over the off-season to ensure that 2015 is a success.

We invite you to be part of our Club culture, one that strives for success for all its players members and sponsors.
