#ShooshforKidsEncouraging Positive Spectator Behaviour
Shellharbour Junior Football Club is taking on the Shoosh for Kids challenge this May.
Shoosh for Kids is a collaborative effort organised by the Office of Sport to encourage positive spectator behaviour at junior sport.
There is 1 very simple message
If you don’t have anything nice to say, shoosh for kids.
The MessageMaking sure we are all positive
Shoosh for Kids isn’t about staying completely silent, it’s just about making sure we’re all positive. The campaign covers 5 key topics
Overarching: Think before you speak
General participation: Keep it positive. Keep it fun.
Volunteer appreciation: Remember, volunteers run kids sport.
Respecting the officials: Respect the referee
Supporting the coaches: Let coaches do the coaching.
